A busy bee

The picture to the right was taken just after I bought my 90-230 zoom lens and was testing the zoom lens out. I took four pictures of the bee, three of which turned out, and the one here is my favourite. (In the fourth picture, the bee had just taken off and was a big blur.) The pictures were taken with no tripod from about 10 feet away.

Butterly in black and white

Black and white isn't the usual choice for photographing something as colourful as a butterfly, but I'm happy with how the textures came out in this picture.
