Dog race
The whippets in the picture to the right are chasing a rabbit skin (just out of the frame) and are running at approximately 50km/hr. I was sitting in the bleachers with my zoom lens pre-focused between the strings on either side of the raceway (the two faint horizontal lines going through the dogs). I tracked the dogs and took the picture when they were in my focus zone.
Sadly, the one dog in that race that I knew was trailing a bit, and I didn't notice he wasn't in the frame until after I'd taken the picture.
Budgie reflections
Went visiting a family friend, and her budgie was very talkative and obsessed with mirrors. It was pretty easy to convince it to pose for me.
